“The 5th Brooklyn Holiday Bazaar is going to be bigger than ever. We’re not just saying that — this year we’re expanding to a second venue. We have an incredible weekend planned at 501 Union and Green Building NYC with the best of Brooklyn talent: handpicked makers, food, drinks, crafts for kids and tons of fun activities for the whole family. Mark your calendar for Nov 25 + 26 and tag a friend you want to go with! See you there.” ~ Brooklyn Makers

Back for a seventh season, the NY Handmade Collective (formerly known as the Etsy New York Street Team), a local community of professional artisans, will again be the sole merchandise vendor for BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn!, the premier outdoor summer festival concert series in Prospect Park.
From June 7th through August 12th, NYHC will give show attendees exclusive access to a diverse, all-handmade capsule market of goods made by local artists – your friendly staff during all of the shows. Come in and talk shop with any one of them to find out more about NYC and the handmade market collective, the techniques that go into producing their wares, or just to say hello!
Whether a local Brooklynite or a visitor to the borough, anyone attending BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! this summer will be drawn to supporting the NYHC artisans by shopping local and taking home a one-of-a-kind gift as a tangible reminder of the experience.
About BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn!
In its 38th season, BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! is one of New York City’s longest running free outdoor performing arts festivals. Over its history, the festival has presented over 2,000 artists and ensembles reflective of the borough’s diversity. Most BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! performances are free.

There’s something amazing about our pink and green cowl scarf…it has a story.
It was Saturday, October 29th, when we met Joede of Black Pearl Creations. We were neighbors at an event. As she was purchasing some of our skin care products, she shared a story with us. A story about her tenacity. A story about her greater appreciation for life. Because eight years ago, she received a grave diagnosis. She was diagnosed with aggressive Stage 3 breast cancer and her situation was dire.
But now, eight years since that diagnosis, she continues to defy the odds. We recall some of our words to her that day and we repeat it for her and for everyone…”You go girl!” Your passion to continue to live, laugh, and love every moment of life is an inspiration.
We chose this scarf with purpose…it intertwined the colors green that reflects our logo and pink, a symbolic color for breast cancer awareness. Thank you for creating such beautiful work. It was our pleasure to meet you and we look forward to keeping in touch.
We partnered with the Museum of the City of New York for a vendor showcase on Friday, August 19th! As we shared our story and customers experienced our products, they also explored the various museum exhibits that celebrate the city’s “heritage of diversity, opportunity, and perpetual transformation.” We had a wonderful time and there’s more to come, so stay tuned!
Open daily: 10:00am – 5:00pm
We were asked to join the TODAY Show this morning for their special segment on small businesses. A collaboration between the TODAY Show and American Express OPEN, the segment recognized small businesses and promoted Small Business Saturday on November 28th.
We had an amazing experience and are so grateful for this opportunity! And, thanks to everyone who continue to support small businesses!
